About our diamonds Every diamond we sell is laboratory-grown. Laboratory-grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds, and are graded by the same laboratories against the same standards. We describe them as laboratory-grown on every product page, on every invoice, and on every customs declaration. We never present them as mined. Specifications and certification Each stone is graded by an independent laboratory — IGI or GIA — and ships with its report number. You can verify that number on the laboratory's own website. Where a photograph and a certificate disagree, the certificate governs. Prices and availability Prices are shown in the currency displayed and exclude import duty and taxes in your country. Stock levels for loose diamonds are shown live because most stones are unique; a stone may sell while you are viewing it. Orders Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. For online purchases, a contract is formed when we confirm your order and take payment. We may decline an order — for example if a stone has just sold, if a price was displayed in error, or if we cannot lawfully ship to your destination — and if we do, we refund you in full. Bespoke work Bespoke and made-to-order pieces are quoted individually and confirmed in writing before production begins. Because they are made to your specification they are not returnable. We will make this clear before you commit. Our liability We are responsible for the goods being as described and reaching you in the condition they left us. We are not responsible for import duties, for delays caused by customs, or for loss arising from your own use or alteration of an item after delivery. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections available to you under the law of your own country of residence.
